Dealing with invoices means costs for both the issuer and the receiver of the invoice. Electronic invoice, understood as legally accepted, will help speeding up the invoice process and therefore reducing costs.
Electronic invoice is not only the near future but also immediate present (mandatory when issued to Spanish public institutions). There are, however, some issues that need to be solved before electronic invoice is massively used:
